Charity partnership: growing ideas and inspiring change

Charity partnership

At artisan, we’re firm believers that small ideas can grow into something beautiful and powerful.

That’s why we’re delighted to be partnering with Creating Nature’s Corridors (CNC) – a fantastic charity dedicated to rewilding stretches of land across the UK and Ireland. Together, we’re not just planting trees, we’re helping to create a greener future.

Why this charity partnership matters

Residential and commercial developments are having a huge detrimental impact on the UK’s biodiversity and ecosystem, with thousands of trees and hedgerows being destroyed. CNC exists to tackle this by rebalancing natural habitats and providing a more appealing landscape for communities affected by these developments.

Founded by Vhari Russell, CNC works with local communities, landowners and partners to reconnect habitats and create thriving natural spaces that support wildlife, improve air quality and help absorb carbon from the atmosphere.

What we’ve been doing

At artisan, we work as a big family, enjoying time together and supporting each other through life’s journey. From the very beginning, artisan has supported local charities by offering free design and volunteering in the community.

Since announcing our charity partnership with CNC at the beginning of July, artisan has been contributing towards their tree-planting projects across the UK – helping to extend hedgerows and plant native trees in areas most in need of ecological restoration.

We’ve also been supporting CNC by raising awareness through our platform and sharing their story to our network.

“I met Vhari while working on joint marketing projects,” says Annie Nurse, Managing Director of artisan. “When she asked me, with such passion, to support her tree planting mission in support of her brother’s sudden death at 37, how could I refuse? Knowing you’re making a difference, helping someone or saving the planet always puts a smile on my face. A sense of giving something back just because you can.  So, if we can offer our support through our skills and time, why wouldn’t we?”

Looking ahead

As our partnership continues to grow, we’re excited to find new ways to support CNC’s mission. From future volunteering days to campaign collaborations, we’re committed to keeping sustainability at the heart of what we do.

Because when creativity meets purpose, real change takes root.
